Registration Packages 2010 - 2011

Competitive Squad:

• Returning swimmers and their siblings ONLY, must be registered by August 1, 2010.
• No late registrations will be accepted. 
• Returning swimmers should drop their registrations off at the pool.
• All New Registration Packages must be completed in full with all cheques or credit card information dropped off at Registration Night.
• Those returning swimmers who have not registered by August 1, 2010 but still wish to swim with the Comets must drop off their fully completed registrations at our registration night.
• note: any credit card info must be updated

Rookie Camps

Interested in trying swim club?  Experience swim club without signing up for the whole year.  Swim for a week, make friends, meet the coaches and see if swim club is for you and your young swimmer.  $30 per session, payable by cash or cheque. 

September 20-23 & September 27-30
Big Hill Leisure Pool
Monday thru Thursday
4:30 – 5:30 PM

Print out the registration package making sure all forms are complete.  Drop off at Big Hill Leisure Pool in Comets mailbox. 

Please print a copy of the Town of Cochrane Informed Consent and include them with your registration package. 

Swimmers will not be allowed in the pool until all forms are received, completed and signed, along with fee.

Please be prepared for each practice with swimsuit, goggles, cap and water.

AWARDS EVENING

Congratulations to all of the swimmers!! What a great year and great performances shown by the Comets’ Swimmers. See Randi’s coach report for a more thorough break down of all the club records which have been broken as well as the trophy winners. (thank goodness for now flying fish!!)

OFFICIALS

Remember, the club will pay for the cost of your embroidery, you need to supply the shirt. Swim Alberta has mandated a Navy Blue, sleeved shirt, Club logo left breast. Embroidery is done in town.

FUND RAISING

The meat/coffee fundraiser was a great success. The club will do this again in the 2010-11 season. We have had a new parent come forward and offer her assistance for fundraising as well as helping Ron M with the corporate fundraisings. Thank you and welcome Jackie B.

EXECUTIVE POSITIONS

As with all volunteer clubs, executive positions are always available.

Thank you to all of the parents who put their names forward again to be part of the executive and WELCOME to the new parents. Our club thrives and exists on parent volunteers.

Thank you again. As well, a huge thank you to everyone who has been on the executive board last year or previous years, thank you for your time.

BULLETIN BOARD

For the summer, the board will remain neutral. Closer to registration date, it will be updated. Please visit the website as this will be more current. Everyone enjoy their summer, kids take a good break and good luck to the swimmers going on to provincials and summer games.
